Mark Rosenstand, after he apprenticed in Framing and Custom home renovation on the North Shore, founded Alltrades in 1986. Experience building in the inclement West Coast weather prepared him to tackle any job, regardless of the time of year.

His 26 years of experience, working with other trades, has well prepared him to manage and choreograph, complex Renovations.

The advent of the “leaky Condo’s fiasco”, spawned a new awareness in building science and one that Alltrades mastered. Alltrades was well positioned to offer expert and efficient repairs, working in concert with Engineers and Building inspectors.

Subsequently the “Alltrades team” has had the opportunity to purchase, renovate and resell five homes, while doing countless other renovations over the past 26 years. (Currently Alltrades is developing a 20 acre parcel on the Sunshine Coast).

Alltrades has managed many complex jobs which have surpassed the expectations of their North Shore clientel. The list of Alltrades’ services include: Home inspections, site lay out, ground and sanitary water management, foundation repair, roofing repair,siding repairs, (building envelope in general) Skylights, doors and windows new and old, including retrofits, Heritage Home restorations, Framing, and Timber framing.Wood and polyeurathane decks.Waterproofing.

Some of the inside repair or replacement skillsets offered include; Crown and /or baseboard trim mouldings, tile, wood floor coverings, bathroom and kitchen design and layout, drywall, electrical and plumbing, including forced air and Hydronic heating repairs, etc. In the event that some mechanical repairs require the latest technology , we have a list of sub-trades at our disposal.

Alltrades is fully insured, all employees and Sub trades are covered by WCB. Alltrades is Bondable and work is performed to the standards of the BC building code.
